Allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Michael Nickerson, and I am a licensed Optician with 30 years of experience in the eyecare industry.

Having worked at LensCrafters in Kingston and Belleville for the past few years, I have watched prices in the industry skyrocket to the point where prescription eyewear is no longer affordable for many.  Simply put, seeing has become a luxury.  As an eyecare professional, this doesn't sit well with me.  I believe that vision care is a basic necessity that should be accessible to all.

My mission is to provide our community with fashionable eyewear at affordable prices.  In order to keep operating costs to a minimum, (and pass those savings along to you) I have transformed part of my home into a beautiful space with nearly a thousand pairs of eyeglasses to choose from.
